You’ve probably heard from all kinds of people that your college experience will be the best time in your life. And while that might be absolutely true, with some thoughtful planning up front your life as an undergrad will likely exceed your expectations!
Ultimately, you want to be true to yourself when making decisions and preparing for those four important years (and maybe more!) between high school and the beginning of your career.

• Who am I and what do I want to do with my life?
• Which schools will meet my needs?
• How will I pay for school?
All of those key areas are interrelated. You need to know what you want to do – or at least your major area of interest, where you can go to school to get the training you need, and finally, think right up front about how you (and your parents if they are helping) will pay for school.
